Internet Safety

This page is dedicated to helping students become aware of risks on the Internet and to help educate parents and teachers as well. Knowledge is POWER.

The Internet is a marvelous tool that parents, students, and teachers use on a daily basis to access information, communicate with friends, watch videos, play games, and chat with friends. While the Internet provides us with many advantages, we need to be careful what we information we share with others online and what information we believe.

You would not let strangers enter your house, read your personal information, or look at photos from your latest vacation. Remember that there are strangers lurking on the Internet to prey on innocent teenagers and kids. There are also other teenagers that try to use the Internet to bully other people. It is okay to use the Internet, but you should try to protect yourself from all of its potential problems as well.
