7th Grade Language Arts

I gladly welcome your child to 7th grade in Mrs. Den Hartog’s classroom.  I’m entering my twenty-third year of teaching; a true passion of mine resides in teaching middle school students.   I enjoy their energy, creativity, and willingness to learn, and I’m so excited to get to know each and every one of them over the course of this year.  

My husband Aaron Den Hartog, 6th grade Science teacher at NPMS, and myself  moved to New Prague in 2005.  We enjoy life with our two children Carter (16) and Grace (14).  As a family, we remain active through academics, sports and traveling.  We feel blessed to live in a community which fosters and encourages academics, athletics, and the arts.  In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and walking my dog, Boston.
