Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. I am Mr. Specht and I’m entering my 19th year as a teacher at New Prague Middle School (21st overall). I am excited for you to be in my class and look forward to helping you have a successful school year.
Class Overview:
This year in Social Studies we will be learning about Minnesota History. Some of the topics we will discuss include Minnesota’s first people, the culture and geography of Minnesota, as well as Minnesota’s involvement in such historical topics as the US Civil War, Dakota Conflict, WWI, WWII, and the Great Depression.
