NPMS SUMMER NEWSLETTER 2026
Notes from Mr. Gregor and Mr. Bell
Dear NPMS Families,
As this school year wraps up, we want to send a big thank you to all of our incredible families. It has been such a joy watching your kids grow, learn, and tackle new challenges over the last school year. We are so proud of the hard work, creativity, and positive attitudes that we observed throughout this year. School is a team effort, and we could not have done it without your amazing support, energy, and partnership. Thank you for trusting us with your children. We hope you and your family have a safe, fun, and relaxing summer break!
Thanks,
Mr. Gregor and Mr. Bell

NPMS Counselors and Social Worker Newsletter: Summer
Mental Health Awareness Week
New Prague Middle School celebrated Children’s Mental Health Week from May 18–22 by promoting the importance of positive mental health. This year’s theme, “Better Days Together,” encouraged students and staff to focus on connection, wellness, and positivity throughout the week through various activities and spirit days.
The week concluded on Friday, May 23, with grade-level wellness activities. These activities emphasized several important aspects of positive mental health, including physical activity, healthy choices, social connection, laughter, and time outdoors. Students and staff also enjoyed a dodgeball tournament and many opportunities to connect and have fun together.
It was a meaningful and positive week centered on supporting our students and encouraging important conversations about mental health. Thank you to Duck Cup for your generous support and help with making this week possible. We appreciated the enthusiastic participation from both students and staff, and the week was filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit.
