NPMS FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER 2026
Notes from Mr. Gregor and Mr. Bell
Dear NPMS Families,
Happy New Year! The start of the new year has been very busy for everyone with the end of the first semester and the beginning of the 2nd semester. We were finally able to get all of our choir concerts in! The student performances for band in December and choir in December and January were well done by our students and directors and well attended by families.
We also hosted Junior Achievements' Finance Park at our school this year! It was a pop-up experience where our 7th grade technology education students got to step into the shoes of adults for a day. At JA Finance Park, students used personal finance knowledge they learned in class to make real-life money decisions. Each student managed a pretend life scenario with a job, family and bills to pay. This was not possible without the help of parents who volunteered their time to lead the activities for this wonderful experience for our students. Thanks to all who were able to help. We look forward to a great second semester and appreciate everyone's support!
8th Grade HS Registration: There will be more information coming to parents/guardians at later dates, but here are some dates to save: 1. Monday, February 9 - 8th Grade Information Night (last names A-L: 6-7 p.m., M-Z: 7-8 p.m.) and 2. Tuesday, February 17 - HS counselors at the MS to assist 8th graders with registration (please bring completed course registration worksheets to school this day).
